Lexington, Ky.—Unmatched in its size and year-round beauty, Magnolia, the fragrant and iconic hardwood of the American South, is the inspiration for the new HDP High Definition Porcelain wood-look tile line from Florida Tile.

“We created Magnolia in a new 8×36 pressed plank for a format consistent with not only the grand scale of the wood but also the current trends in natural hardwood flooring,” says Florida Tile’s Marketing Director Sean Cilona. “With the Florida Tile version, however, you get the look of the species without all of the maintenance and worries of a real wood.”

Florida Tile’s latest, Magnolia Ash.

According to Cilona, “The new line was created with a wide, smooth surface and a texture that is reserved, yet still delivers gives the soft supple touches of natural wood surface. You’d swear you were standing on the floor of classic plantation home.”

Magnolia from Florida Tile is available in four classic wood stain colors (Chestnut, Mahogany, Burl and Cherry), and two additional contemporary colors (Ash and Fir).

Magnolia was developed using Florida Tile’s HDP High Definition Porcelain™ technology, the combination of a large grain pattern and gentle saw marks with minor imperfections that are inherent in a real wood.
