Vittorio Borelli was recently elected as chairman of the Italian ceramic manufacturers’ association for the two-year period 2013-2015 with 100% of the votes. This followed from the May 14th meeting of the Board of Directors where his designation as Chairman of Confindustria Ceramica was approved unanimously to enthusiastic applause.
Vittorio BorelliVittorio Borelli, 42, graduated in 1995 in Political Science with a specialisation in history and politics at the University of Bologna. After an internship at American International in Chicago (USA), a company operating in the field of ceramic product distribution, he joined Fincibec in April 1996 as area manager for overseas markets. In 2000 he was appointed General Manager for the Century brand and in 2008 Managing Director of Fincibec spa.
Vittorio Borelli has many years of experience within the Association. He has been a member of the Promotional and Exhibitions Committee since 1999 and Chairman of the Committee since 2007. From June 2005 to May 2011 he was a member of the Board of Directors of Confindustria Ceramica.
Fincibec Group, a ceramic sector company founded 50 years ago, has three factories in the Sassuolo area with a production capacity of 10 million square metres and 500 employees.
