Jiangsu Province, China — NSF Sustainability, a division of NSF International, has certified carpet tile manufacturer Interface’s GlasBac, GlasBac RE and CushionBac  products to NSF/ANSI 140: Sustainability Assessment for Carpet.

The products are manufactured at the company’s facility in Jiangsu Province, China, the first manufacturing plant in China to produce more sustainable carpet products certified by NSF International.
NSF/ANSI 140 establishes sustainability performance requirements for carpet products throughout their life cycle and supply chain.

Designers, architects, facility managers, purchasing professionals and contractors depend on the standard to specify and obtain reliable and more sustainable carpet products.
Interface’s GlasBac and CushionBac carpet tiles achieved gold certification and GlasBac RE carpet achieved platinum certification.
