Calhoun, Ga.–Mohawk Group announced that experienced contract interiors furnishings and finishes leader Fred Zebro has joined the company as regional vice president for the New York-New Jersey region. In this role, Zebro will be responsible for driving key business initiatives and leading the team in New York, New Jersey and Long Island.

“It is with great pleasure that we welcome Fred to the Mohawk family. We are confident that he will leverage his knowledge and skills to strengthen relationships with our customers, while also providing the necessary strategic insight to lead our team in the New York-New Jersey region,” said Kent Clauson, senior vice president of sales for Mohawk Group.

Zebro has more than 15 years of experience in the contract design industry. Before joining Mohawk Group, he held several sales leadership positions with many leading brands, including vice president of sales for HBF-HBF Textiles, as well as director of sales for Geiger for Herman Miller.

“I am thrilled to join Mohawk Group at this exciting time as the company expands its assortment of design-driven products across every flooring category, “ Zebro said. “With a strong background working with high-end brands, I am excited to lead the sales team in delivering Mohawk’s message of design leadership to its valued customer base.”

Zebro earned his bachelor’s degree in design from the College of Architecture, University of Florida. He will be based in New York.
