Lancaster, Pa.—Ecore, a manufacturer of ergonomic and acoustic performance surfaces for commercial and athletic markets, has partnered with Rochester Midland Corporation, a 130-year-old, family-owned, specialty U.S. chemical manufacturer to distribute Enviro Care Neutral Disinfectant into the sports, fitness and recreation markets.

Enviro Care is an approved disinfectant under the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Emerging Viral Pathogen Guidance in response to COVID-19 and other viruses.

“As a leader in performance surfacing, we want to do our part to support our customers as disinfecting surfaces becomes a pressing issue,” said Bo Barber, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Ecore. “With quality disinfectants being in such high demand right now, Ecore is stepping in to make sure our customers have access to a safe product as facilities reopen.”

In addition to flooring, Enviro Care can be used to disinfect all surfaces, including equipment, countertops and walls.

“Whether it be masks or disinfectants, there are currently a lot of attempts at creating homemade solutions,” said Barber. “It’s important to keep safety paramount and when it comes to disinfecting a surface, an EPA-approved product is the right solution.”
