Dalton—The World Floor Covering Association (WFCA) has accepted the resignation of Chris McKee as CFI president, according to Scott Humphrey, WFCA CEO. For personal reasons, McKee has made the difficult decision to pursue other opportunities, he said.
“Chris has been instrumental in helping to set a forward direction for CFI with his insight and vision,” Humphrey said. “We intend to continue the work he has begun. We will be expeditiously moving forward in the search for a new president, and wish Chris the best in his future endeavors.”
McKee added, “I firmly believe in CFI and the power of its role in the industry. I feel fortunate to have been a part of its history and to contribute to the organization’s momentum. I am grateful to the WFCA board and the staff of CFI for giving me this opportunity and for their understanding. I look forward to seeing what the future holds for CFI.”
