PetSmart CharitiesDalton— Shaw Industries Group has collaborated with PetSmart Charities, the top funder of animal welfare in North America, to support the nonprofit’s mission of helping homeless pets. As part of this initiative, a portion of sales from Shaw Floors’ Pet Perfect products will be donated to PetSmart Charities to support initiatives that make life better for pets and people.

“This partnership with PetSmart Charities is synergistic with Shaw’s desire to create a better future in our communities,” said Curtis Callaway, Shaw’s director of community engagement and corporate philanthropy. “PetSmart Charities partners with local nonprofit organizations to make a positive impact for animals in need. Our pets are members of our families. Now, shoppers can purchase the best flooring solutions for their pets, which will in turn help other pets in need through our partnership with PetSmart Charities.”

PetSmart Charities’ collaboration with local animal welfare organizations and commitment to saving and improving the lives of pets across North America aligns with Shaw’s vision to create a better future for its people, customers and communities.

With this joint initiative, a portion of proceeds from sales of Shaw Floors’ Pet Perfect collection—including the following pet-friendly solutions: Pet Perfect Cushion, Pet Perfect Cleaner, Pet Perfect Carpet and Pet Perfect Mineral Core—will be donated to the nonprofit. Consumers who purchase these pet-friendly flooring solutions with their furry friends in mind can buy with confidence knowing a part of their purchase will help pets in need. Shaw is committed to making a substantial contribution to PetSmart Charities and is highly motivated to make a difference in the lives of pets with this exciting new development.

By joining forces, the companies are taking a significant step toward promoting pet-friendly homes across the nation. This partnership not only showcases the shared commitment to animal welfare, but also serves as an example of how businesses and nonprofit organizations can work together to impact the lives of pets and their owners.

“Shaw is a trusted and familiar brand,” said Aimee Gilbreath, president of PetSmart Charities. “We’re thrilled to align with their mission to meet the needs of pet parents with these pet-centric products that make living with pets easier, cleaner and more comfortable.  And we’re excited they took it a step further by investing a portion of those sales into helping adoptable pets find new homes and people to love. It’s the ultimate win-win-win!”
