Retailers weigh in: What’s your winning ‘Edge?’

HomeFeatured PostRetailers weigh in: What's your winning 'Edge?'

(The retail community is counting down the days until Mohawk’s Edge Summit takes place this winter. As such, we’ve tapped several retailers, large and small, to explain what they’re looking forward to most.)

Reason to attend: Networking

I am looking forward to networking with other retailers, and to learn more about what’s in store for the flooring industry in 2025. Mohawk Edge Summit opens retailers’ eyes to what’s happening around the country, and gives new ideas for your store locally. It’s a great place to brainstorm and learn from other retailers in the same position as you.

Connecting with other retailers is a key part to learning and developing in the flooring industry. It’s important to have strong connections in the industry that you can continuously brainstorm with outside of Mohawk Edge Summit.

One of our favorite resources for marketing growth and strategy is brainstorming with other Mohawk retailers on best practices. The marketing world has changed immensely over the last decades, and learning from others in the industry is the best way to keep up with the constantly changing landscape.

We’ve had the opportunity to connect with many different retailers over the years we’ve visited Edge, and have remained in touch with a core group of them. From the West Coast to the East Coast, each one has different backgrounds and specialties that we’ve been able to learn from.

Getting to connect with others in-person is an opportunity you can’t pass up. There’s only so much you can learn from a quick phone call or Zoom meeting, and you won’t regret taking advantage of attending an event like Edge.
