HomeInside FCNewsWFCA: Hall of Fame applications sought

Anaheim, Calif.—The World Floor Covering Association (WFCA) is now accepting applications for nominations to the Floor Covering Industry Hall of Fame.

The current roster of 40 inductees is a virtual “Who’s Who” of the industry. “To be considered as a candidate,” said Tom Jennings, past WFCA chairman, “an individual must be nominated by a sponsor who will complete a confidential application process detailing the nominee’s work history, industry, trade, governmental and civic accomplishments. Nominees can come from any sector of the industry.”

Applications, guidelines and a list of current inductees are available by calling 800.624.6880, ext. 17. The deadline to submit  applications is Nov. 2. Nominations will be reviewed by a special committee for consideration. If anyone is elected, a formal induction ceremony will be held sometime in 2013.
