Alan Greenberg CharityAdairsville, Ga.—The annual Alan Greenberg Charity Golf Fundraiser will take place on Sept. 13, 2023. This year will be the 21st year of hosting the Alan Greenberg Charity Golf Tournament, which benefits the Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF) and will return to the historic Barnsley Gardens here.

Last year’s event raised $130,000 for the FCIF. Funds from the tournament support the foundation’s ongoing efforts to assist those who are currently, or have been, affiliated with the floor covering industry and are experiencing unanticipated hardships due to illness, disability or other life-altering circumstances.

The organization helps families dealing with issues ranging from organ transplants to cancer treatments receive financial assistance at a time in their life when they need it most.

“One of the best things about being part of this industry is that we band together for important causes, such as this cause behind the golf tournament,” said Charlie Dilks, chief product officer at CCA Global Partners and chairman of the FCIF Board. “We’re raising money to help those in the flooring industry who have hit an unanticipated hardship because of a medical emergency, unexpected accident or situation that has put them in life-altering circumstances. I can’t wait to see everyone there and to raise much-needed funds for the many who need help in our floor covering family.”

Attended by business owners, vendors, manufacturers, distributors and supporters from all across the nation, the tournament is a day of fellowship, friendship and the opportunity for friendly competition aimed at a common goal of goodwill. Supporters contributions to the FCIF –via participation in the tournament as well as event sponsorships –will assist the foundation in raising funds during a crucial time.
